My first wave event, as I was there anyway with the demo Kona's for all to try given the light winds forecast.

Sailed over to Starvation Island with the rest of the competitors , then sailed back.

I left the board and rig set up for people to try out and discover for themselves whether or not they like the set up. Plenty tried it, and didn't hear any negative feedback either.

Had couple of Kona Mini Tankers with me, and the kids seemed to be able to pull off various new school freestyle moves on these. Also on the beach for people to use were the Kona One, a Kona 11'5 and another Kona 10'5.

John Hibbard had brought along some SUP's, and Chris Lewis brought some NP rigs too.

Lot's of credit to Funsport and Boardseeker and the UKWA for making sure people had a good weekend, despite the lack of wind.
